Individual Qualifications:
Each team member is required to turn in qualification targets to determine their position on each of the shooting teams. To be
fully qualified for team competition, you would need two lines (or one line plus your previous year's average) mailed into the Stats officer the Wednesday before the Spring Potomac skirmish and one line mailed into the Stats officer the Wednesday before the week of Spring Nationals. You may
re-qualify at any period. If you change arms, (Ex: one musket for another musket) you must
re-qualify with the changed arm to hold a qualified position on the team. The order of targets per
arm (constituting one line) is as follows:
MUSKET
50yd:
Line of targets - Pigeon, Pot, and Tile. 3 minutes per event. 1 Bonus Clay Pigeon is used above paper pigeon for bonus on First Shot at pigeon event. A hit on the clay pigeon
on the First Shot is scored as 2.
100yd:
Paper Plate - 3 minute event
Tile - 3 minute event. Bonus 6" Tile hung for First Shot at Tile Event.
CARBINE
50yd:
Line of targets - Pigeon, Pot, and Tile. 2 minutes per event. 1 Bonus Clay Pigeon is used above paper pigeon for bonus on First Shot at pigeon event. A hit on the clay pigeon
on the First Shot is scored as 2.
100yd:
No Paper Plate
Tile - 2 minute event. Bonus 6" Tile hung for First Shot at Tile Event.
REVOLVER
25yd:
Line of targets - Pigeon, Pot, and Tile. 1 minute per event to shoot 6 six shoots. 1 clay pigeon is used above paper pigeon for bonus on First Shot at pigeon event. A hit on the clay pigeon
on the First Shot is scored as 2.
No 50yd event
HENRY
50yd:
Line of targets - Pigeon, Pot, and Tile. 1 minute per event to shoot however many shots your Henry can hold (usually 13 or 14
rounds). 1 clay pigeon is used above paper pigeon for bonus point on First Shot at pigeon event
(a hit on the clay pigeon with the First Shot is scored as 2).

During the course of each shoot at Ft. Shenandoah, each team member should keep a scoring sheet for each musket and carbine event they participate in. Scoring sheet is turned in to the stats officer after each event so your hit times can be calculated. Score sheets look like the following:
